employers network on disability's internship program for tertiary students with a disability

The Employers Network on Disability is pleased to announce that its 'Stepping into...' internship program for tertiary students with disability is now open.

To be eligible, 2010 students must have a disability and be in the final or penultimate year of a relevant degree at a recognised tertiary institution.

'Stepping into...' provides valuable work experience for students who may face barriers finding employment due to their disability. The program provides four weeks paid work experience within a leading Australian organisation, offering students the opportunity to develop practical skills and experience in the workplace, and build a network of contacts for the future.

In 2010, the Employers Network on Disability has opportunities available for students in the following disciplines:

• Accounting & Finance
• Marketing
• Business & Commerce
• Law
• Human Resources
• Information Technology
• Engineering
• Public Policy & Research

Applications opened on 30 March 2010 and will close at COB Friday 30 April 2010.
