cut carbon and cut costs with acpet’s free green skills project

National Monday Update Issue:

Become a sustainability champion with ACPET’s free Pilot Project

Last year the National VET Sector Sustainability Policy and Action Plan was endorsed, and COAG released the Green Skills Agreement to be implemented from the second half of this year. Green Skills are progressively being integrated into Training Packages, while plans for up-skilling existing VET practitioners are in development.

In this context ACPET SA, in partnership with Innovate SA, intends to work with selected ACPET members on a pilot project designed to provide support for implementing environmentally sustainable work practices, leading to economic benefits and efficiencies and potential market advantage for early adopters in this area.

ACPET is calling for nominations from SA based members to participate in this pilot project consisting of a series of three workshops, one each in April, May and June, commencing on 21 April, with subsequent sessions comprising broader participation from July.

If you are interested in participating, please obtain from the ACPET SA office, an expression of interest form, complete and return to joy [dot] deleo [at] acpet [dot] edu [dot] au (Joy de Leo) by Friday, 16 April.
