nsw industry leaders celebrating tourism and hospitality training

Last week, Tourism Training Australia provided a unique opportunity for international students to meet with tourism and hospitality industry leaders and practitioners at Parliament House, Sydney.

Almost 200 students joined with industry and training leaders to celebrate the growth of the tourism and hospitality industry in New South Wales, with the expectation that tourism will add $92 billion to the Australian economy this year.

The event provided an opportunity for students to meet with industry leaders and gain valuable advice on developing their careers with guests representing major hotels, restaurants, clubs, travel, tourism as well as other sectors and major employers.

Guest speakers included Nicholas Wyman, CEO of WPC Group, Peter Doyle, President of Restaurant & Catering Australia, David Collins, General Manager State Training Services NSW DET and Bill Galvin CEO Tourism Training Australia.
