applications for cricos re-registration due by 16 april

National Monday Update Issue:

On 3 March 2010 the ESOS Act 2010 went into effect, requiring all current CRICOS to be re-registered by the end of this year.

The states and federal government have agreed on a nationally consistent risk management approach to re-registration, meaning that the re-registration process may vary among providers according to a risk assessment.

All current providers will have to apply for re-registration, including those that may have been recently registered or audited, or that may be due for re-registration in 2010 as a part of their usual audit cycle.

All providers will need to apply for re-registration online through the PRISMS home page

Your CoE Administrator will need to log onto PRISMS to access the re-registration menu in the left hand column. After you have submitted your application you will receive automated advice that it has been received.

While CRICOS re- registrations must be completed by the end of this year, the closing date for applications is 16 April.

For more information about re-registration in your state or territory, please contact the appropriate person in your State Training Authority who manages the re-registration process.

(NB Please note that Saraswathi Karthigasu is the contact person for South Australian providers only)
