Nominations are opening soon for this Shanghai World Expo 2010 Event
The Queensland-China Education and Training Awards for Excellence program has been specially convened by Queensland Education and Training International (QETI), Trade Queensland to acknowledge the broad range of activities and achievements of international education and training partnerships between China and Queensland.
The presentation ceremony will be held during Queensland Week celebrations at Shanghai World Expo on 22 June 2010 at the Australian Pavilion.
The Awards will profile Queensland’s significant and successful partnerships with China; celebrate Queensland’s outstanding Chinese students and alumni; highlight the contributions made by international students to both Queensland and Chinese classrooms and communities; and showcase the strengths and capabilities of Queensland's international education and training industry.
The Awards categories are:
* Student of the Year
* Alumnus of the Year
* Queensland Student Ambassador of the Year
* Best Practice in Queensland-China Collaboration
* Best Practice in Collaborative Research
* Outstanding Education Agent
Nomination documents will be distributed shortly via the QETI email distribution list and will also be available on the Study Queensland Industry Portal.
Nominations close 5 pm on Wednesday 21 April 2010.
Short-listed applicants will be announced early May and will be invited to attend a presentation ceremony at the Australian Pavilion, Shanghai World Expo 2010 on Thursday 22 June 2010.
