ACPET applauds the new Director General’s (Dr Ruth Sheen’s) initiative to investigate the Department’s current purchasing arrangements for training services.

ACPET WA will meet directly to provide feedback on the current purchasing arrangements and their subsequent effects on the business operations of private providers and the students wishing to study at private training organisations.

We are hopeful that this review will result in more efficient, transparent and equitable purchasing arrangements for the ‘entire training sector’ of WA.
