National Monday Update Issue: 

1. SUCCESSFUL TENDERING FOR RTO GRANTS and FUNDING
A practical approach for RTOs to improve the chance of success when applying for grants and funding

This workshop will provide an overview of the funding sources that could be applied to RTO’s and sample funding applications with related hands-on activities. Participants will become more aware of how to ensure criteria are met, what selection panels look for, and other ways to maximise success.

Presenter: Janene Piip

Janene is a Marketing and Business Development Award winner who has made it her business focus to assist organisations in finding and accessing funding. Over the past 15 years she has helped organisations access millions of dollars and has lost track of the total amount!

With a background in education, Janene has worked in schools and in the VET sector with responsibility for managing the Productivity Places Program and other Commonwealth tenders.

Janene now co-manages an on-line Grants and Tenders newsletter to put VET providers in touch with national funding opportunities and with tender writing consultants.

2. ACPET Higher Education Forum
A Changing Context - Have your say!

The ACPET Higher Education Forum will address current developments in Higher Education, including national issues related to the formation of TEQSA and ACPET’s proposed Higher Education Benchmarking Tool, as well as sharing local perspectives in this rapidly changing context.

Participants will be invited to participate, ask questions, discuss key issues and share experiences, enabling ACPET to canvass member views and perspectives in order to better represent them.

This Forum is for ACPET member Higher Education providers and members who are planning to become Higher Education providers in the future.

3. International Education Seminar
Offshore Market Development: Opportunities and Approaches
