acpet international student induction series 2010 - new places now open!

As part of our ongoing commitment to member services ACPET, in partnership with Education Adelaide, the SA Training Advocate, Adelaide City Council, government agencies and sponsors, has organised a series of five information sessions for international students to orientate them to life in Adelaide.

NEW! Fifty extra places have just opened up for the remaining sessions in the series – places are filling fast and places are strictly limited. RTOs wishing to register students should contact Danni Armfield at ACPET:

Due to popular demand, the series will run again in the second half of 2010. All member RTOs are invited to encourage their international students to attend these FREE information sessions as part of mandatory attendance requirements. Participating students must attend in class or institutional groups accompanied by a staff member who would record attendance.

Health Information Session for International Students

ACPET, with the generous Sponsorship of OSHC Worldcare, are pleased to announce vacancies at a FREE information session for new international students.

The session will cover issues relating to general and sexual health and wellbeing along with health services and basic health insurance issues. To allow students to ask questions in a more personal setting, all presenters will be available to network with students at the conclusion of the session.

Venue: Theatrette, Commonwealth Centre, 55 Currie Street, Adelaide

Colleges are asked to encourage students to attend this information session as part of their mandatory attendance and we ask that a staff member accompany all student groups. Places for this session are limited and filling fast.
