2010 minister’s awards for excellence in training of australian apprentices now open

National Monday Update Issue:

The Minister’s Awards for Excellence (MAE) is an annual event that recognises and rewards organisations and individuals who make an outstanding contribution towards the training of Australian Apprentices.

The application round for the 2010 Minister’s Awards for Excellence for Employers of Australian Apprentices category is now open and closes 26 March 2010.

To assist you in the application process, you will find a number of 2009 winning applications posted on the Australian Apprentices website. These applications demonstrate excellent standards of training and support for employees in the workplace, as well as the processes and programs that were initiated by businesses to provide positive outcomes for both the employer and Australian Apprentices.

Please note, the remaining two MAE categories; the Minister's Award for Commitment to Australian Apprenticeships and the Minister's Award for Support Services Excellence nomination rounds will open Wednesday, 5 May 2010 and close Friday, 11 June 2010.

The 2010 Minister’s Awards for Excellence will be presented at Parliament House in Canberra at a date to be confirmed.
