acpet calling for sustainability champions to participate in a free pilot project – green skills are heating up!

Last year the National VET Sector Sustainability Policy and Action Plan was endorsed, and COAG released the Green Skills Agreement to be implemented from the second half of this year.

Green Skills are progressively being integrated into Training Packages and also considered in the review of the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, while plans for up-skilling existing VET practitioners are in development.

In this context ACPET SA, in partnership with Innovate SA, intends to work with selected ACPET members on a pilot project designed to provide support for implementing environmentally sustainable work practices, leading to economic benefits and efficiencies and potential market advantage for early adopters in this area.

ACPET is calling for nominations from SA based members to participate in this pilot project consisting of a series of three workshops, one each in April, May and June commencing on 26 April, with subsequent sessions comprising broader participation from July.
