Planning is well underway for the 2010 ACPET Q State Forum to be held at the Sofitel Broadbeach on 12 & 13 April.
The timing for this Forum has been planned to fall in between the AVETRA Conference the week before, and the APIEA Conference commencing at the Gold Coast Convention Centre on the 14th April. ACPET will also be sponsoring the dinner at the APIEA Conference on the evening of Friday 16th April.
The State Forum, with the theme of 2020 Vision, will be discussing current imperatives and initiatives impacting on the education and training sector, while endeavouring to visualize where we want to be in 2020 and how best to survive the journey over the next decade.
A host of informative and inspirational presenters will cover topics including: globalization, sustainability, AQTF 10 and TED 10, the international agenda plus the basics of teaching, learning, assessment, business improvement and social inclusion. ACPET will also present on matters of significance to members including the new industrial awards and the Tuition Assurance Schemes.
We are also pleased to acknowledge in advance the attendance of ACPET’s CEO Andrew Smith, Rod Camm Associate Director-General DETA and Professor Giovanni Leonardi of the Europa Futuring Group in Milan.
Registration for members will be $160 per day (including welcome cocktail party)
Registration for non members will be $260 per day (also including welcome cocktail party)
Apart from the Forum learning essentials, participants will be able to engage in professional conversations and will have access to both domestic and international experts. The sessions will provide an opportunity for feedback and interaction with presenters.
A competitive rate of $220 per night at the Sofitel has been arranged for delegates.
