Today – the 8 March – is International Women’s Day. It is indeed a time to reflect on the journey, the achievements and the ‘where to from here’.

In response to Member suggestions ACPET has added a Policy Matters section in the NMU, which will focus on domestic policy matters.

A project facilitated by the Eidos Institute entitled the Indigenous Sunrise Project aimed at improving the access and participation of Indigenous Australians in higher education, has been released.

As part of the Learning and Teaching Academic Standards Project currently being managed by Australian Learning & Teaching Council (ALTC) a number of road show workshops are being held for the Business Discipline.

Planning is well underway for the 2010 ACPET Q State Forum to be held at the Sofitel Broadbeach on 12 & 13 April.

A new funding round for grants from the Australia Korea Foundation (AKF) is currently open - closing date for submissions to the AKF is 18 March 2010.
