The first round of the Tasmanian 2010 Productivity Places Program (PPP) tender opened on 27 February 2010.
RTO’s interested in delivering in the following areas should apply
Job Seeker Stream
RTOs can apply through a tender process between 27 February and 19 March. Outcomes will be publicised by 30 April at the latest. An online portal, similar to that used in 2009, will collect tender responses.
Job Services Australia (JSA) providers can apply between 27 February and 30 June by completing a pro-forma and emailing this directly to Skills Tasmania. Further details will be sought from the named RTO. Applications can be submitted for multiple qualifications, for a minimum of three places where employment outcomes are likely.
A second tender may be released in July 2010.
Existing Worker Stream
RTOs can apply through a tender process between 27 February and 19 March. Outcomes will be publicised by 30 April at the latest. An online portal, system similar to that used in 2009, will collect tender responses.
Employers and Industry Associations can complete a pro-forma and email this directly to Skills Tasmania. Further details will be sought from the named RTO. Applications can be submitted for multiple qualifications, with different RTOs for a minimum of six places.
There is one release of existing worker places in 2010.
