After 12 years of committed service, former Chair Julie Moss has tendered her resignation as a Director of ACPET.
Julie has been a member of ACPET since its inception and joined the Board in 1998. During her time as an elected Category B Director, Julie served the ACPET membership first as Deputy Chair as Chair (2000-2004) and as National Chair (2004-2008).
Julie’s contribution to the growth and development of ACPET has been complemented by her leadership in representing ACPET and raising the profile of the private sector. As a member of a range of national and state Boards and Councils and as ACPET’s representative on overseas delegations, Julie has worked tirelessly on behalf of ACPET members.
Julie has decided that a number of exciting initiatives and projects at her own college, Photography Studies College in Melbourne, require her leadership and guidance and that it is therefore time to allow others the opportunity to take on a leadership role with ACPET.
Having accepted Julie’s resignation with regret, the ACPET Board will take the opportunity to formally recognize her contribution to ACPET and the private sector at a future occasion.
Julie’s resignation creates a vacancy for a Category B Director that will be filled when the annual election for Directors takes place later this year.
