Sadly ACPET member Wayne Gannon, co-owner and founder of Headmasters Academy, passed away last Thursday morning after a long and brave struggle with cancer.
Wayne and Donna Gannon established Headmasters Academy in Collins Street Melbourne in 1997 and since have been strong and active supporters of ACPET and the private training sector in Victoria.
Wayne was a leader in the hairdressing and private training industry. He represented the hairdressing and beauty industry both nationally and internationally. In 1992 he was awarded the Medal of Honour by La Confederation Internationale de la Coiffure, the highest international award in the hairdressing industry.
An inspiring trainer and passionate contributor to the industry, he will be greatly missed.
ACPET extends its condolences to his wife, Donna Gannon, and their families.
