National Monday Update Issue:
The Training Ombudsman regularly visits metropolitan and regional centres to provide an opportunity for apprentices, trainees, employers and training providers to discuss issues face-to-face.
Peter Ruhanen and Sue Sunderland will visit Dalby, Chinchilla, Roma, Charleville, Cunnamulla, St George and Warwick for discussions with DET staff and industry representatives. Community consultations will be held to enable apprentices, trainees and employers to raise any training concerns.
The community consultations will be held at the following centres:
- 15 February - Dalby - Dalby RSL
- 15 February - Chinchilla - Chinchilla Palms Motor Inn
- 16 February - Roma - Best Western Bungil Creek Motel
- 16 February - Charleville - Mulga Country Motor Inn
- 17 February - Cunnamulla - Cunnamulla Magistrates Court
- 18 February - St George - Riverland Motor Inn
- 19 February - Warwick - Coachman's Inn
