Last week, Evolution Hospitality Institute held a special ‘end of course’ function for the students completing their certificate III in patisserie from the failed Sterling College which unexpectedly collapsed toward the latter part of 2009.

Sadly ACPET member Wayne Gannon, co-owner and founder of Headmasters Academy, passed away last Thursday morning after a long and brave struggle with cancer. 

As you may recall in a recent letter from Andrew Smith and David Armstrong, OfficeMax® are now a new corporate partner to ACPET.

The CDAA National Career Conference will be held in Adelaide on 7-9 April 2010 at the Adelaide Hilton on the theme of Greening Career Development to prepare future workers for Green jobs.

New research suggests vocational education and training (VET) improves employment outcomes for people with a disability who don’t have a job.

Further action on quality

A major overhaul of TAS operations will be implemented this year as a further demonstration of ACPET’s determination to protect the interests of members committed to the delivery of high quality education.

The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) is currently managing the mid term Review of PPP.

The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) have delivered a number of VET FEE-HELP information sessions to Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) interested in finding out about VET FEE-HELP.
