The Council of Australian Governments (COAG) has amended the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) to strengthen the regulatory requirements underpinning the VET sector where weaknesses have become apparent.

These amendments introduce conditions and standards for initial registration of new providers and strengthen the requirements for ongoing registration, including stronger financial viability and fee protection conditions.
