National Monday Update Issue:
This year’s theme is ‘focusing on a positive future’ and is being held from 1-2 March 2010 at the Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre, Darling Harbour.
This conference will bring together employers, workers, industry bodies and training organisations to discuss ways to work together to increase the productivity and participation of the workforce in the ‘service industries’.
The program is informative and very interactive; one of the highlights is a panel discussion - "Get a real job: the perception of the service industries", hosted by Jenny Brockie of Insight on SBS.
If you are an ACPET members involved in the Service Industries, this event is a ‘must attend’ and in particular for RTOs, VET practitioners, consultants/auditors directly involved in these vocations; Tourism and Hospitality, Retail, Hairdressing, Beauty, Floristry and Sport and Fitness.
