I have some queries about ACPET and TAS Membership, who do I contact?

How do I make changes to the Trading and/or Company names listed with my membership with ACPET?

 

You will need to submit the request in writing to the ACPET Membership Office, along with copies of any supporting documents showing the change including an ASIC Company Statement or Certificate of Registration of a Business Name.

 

What is a Certificate of Incorporation of a Company? Where do I find it?

 

A Certificate of Incorporation of a Company is a legal document which relates to the formation or structure of a company. It is issued by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and posted to the Company’s listed address. Copies of this certificate can be requested by contacting ASIC.

 

What is a Certificate of Trading Name? Where do I find it?

 

A Certificate of Trading Name is a document showing the name which a business trades under for commercial purposes.  Trading names are registered with your State Government consumer, business and fair trading regulator. They also issue Certificates of Trading Name.  

 

I changed my address and contact details, who should I tell?

 

You will need to contact the Membership Office via email advising them of the changes. 

 

Why does the fee schedule change every year?

 

The Board reassesses fees annually. Factors include inflation and adjustments required to maintain the services and products that ACPET provides at a competitive price.
