ACPET promotes the role of its members in delivering the highest quality tertiary education for students, employers and communities. We work with government, industry and other stakeholders to promote quality, innovation and diversity in Australian post-secondary education and training.
Members have access to services including advice and support on regulation, funding and identifying new business opportunities. Member benefits include discounts on professional development resources, industry newsfeeds and tuition assurance cover.

Fees are determined on a sliding scale based on annual turnover.
Who can join
Membership is open to individuals or enterprises in the field of private post-secondary education and training: providers of higher education, vocational and technical education, English language training, schools, foundation studies and pathway programs.
Membership requirements are stringent to ensure ACPET represents the best of the private education sector.
For individuals and businesses which do not deliver accredited education or training, but have significant involvement in the private education sector. Affiliate members share most of the benefits of full membership, but are not eligible for the ACPET administered Australian Students Tuition Assurance Scheme (ASTAS).
