Tasmania VET Review Consultation- Hobart

As you may be aware, the Hon Nick McKim, Minister for Education and Skills, recently announced a Review of the Role and Function of Tasmania’s Public VET Providers, with submissions due in mid March. Although the Review will focus on the public providers, it cannot ignore the contributions of the wider and active private VET system across Tasmania. We are currently seeking a place on the Steering Committee to ensure a balanced position.

In addition, ACPET will be submitting a written response to the Review and we would like our response to be informed by the views of all private education and training providers in Tasmania. We will be holding a consulation in Hobart on the following date:

• 4.00pm – 5.30pm, Thursday 9 February at TCCI Industry House, 30 Burnett Street, North Hobart
