In December 2007 ACPET and the Association of Private Schools and Colleges Singapore (APSC) signed a cooperation agreement.

This agreement is as follows:

The Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET) and the Association of Private Schools and Colleges Singapore (APSC) pledge to enhance the liaison and cooperation between themselves in accordance with the laws and conventions of both nations. ACPET and APSC are both desirous in the establishment and development of strong collaborative ties between them, in relation to the service sector of education and training.

Both parties agree to:

  1. Strengthen long-term friendly and cooperative relationship; and to develop collaborative partnership in the establishment of cross-cultural exchanges, promotion of international business, education and fostering regional initiatives for mutual benefits.
  2. Exchange information and to share local or regional perspectives so as to gain a greater understanding of education and training in both countries. This will enable both sides to gain a greater appreciation of education and business models existing in their respective and/or other countries.
  3. Participate actively in each party’s respective annual conferences, to provide a keynote speaker when requested; and to extend mutual and equal number of complementary conference registrations, where applicable.
  4. Encourage the development of strategic partnerships between Organisational Members in a two-way exchange of knowledge for purposes of learning and identifying business opportunities in the education and training service sector.
  5. The cooperation in the above-mentioned and related initiatives will enable both Organisational Members belonging to both Parties to foster ties and share information among themselves; and hopefully, improving and strengthening international and bilateral business among them, directly or indirectly.
